Neomexicanus Hops – Amalia Hops
In 2011 Ceilidh Creech, founder of Amalia Hops, LLC, moved to Amalia, NM located in the Rio Costilla Valley of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
Upon inspection of her new property she discovered these beautiful vines crawling over fences, rocks, trees and shrubs. The vines were hops and the rest is history in the making.
Ms. Creech and her partners are embarking on a hoppy journey in which they are identifying and cataloging more than 750 separate vines of the Neomexicanus variety, a variety native to the USA.
